Chondrus Crispus (Carrageenan)
Derived from red algae known as Irish Moss (Chondrus Crispus), Carrageenan is a gel with excellent emollient properties.
Glycolic Acid
Glycolic acid is proven to improve the skin’s appearance and texture. Glycolic acid reacts to the skin weakening the binding properties of the lipid that hold the dead skin cells together. This intense exfoliation allows younger, brighter looking skin to be revealed.
MFA Complex (INCI: Lactic Acid, Citric Acid, Malic Acid, and Tea Extract)
These natural alpha hydroxy acids (AHA) help rid skin of accumulated dead skin cells revealing a more luminous and youthful complexion. AHA also contribute to a more even skin tone by promoting cell turnover. It is obtained from Sugar Cane, Citrus Fruits, Apples, and Green Tea.
Laminaria Digitata & Ascophyllum Nodosum - Sea Plants
Our proprietary blend of these EcoCert seaweeds provides hydrating, nourishing, and anti-oxidant properties. Natural sources of 12 vitamins including B12, C, E, K and Beta Carotene, 18 amino acids, and 42 trace elements. Essential fatty acids help maintain the skin barrier while Alginic Acid - a polysaccharide - helps to lock moisture into the skin. Known to help increase cell proliferation.
Centella Asiatica (Gotu Kola) Extract
A natural plant known to help increase collagen growth and synthesis and promote connective tissue vascularization. It has been found to increase tensile strength of skin and promote rapid healing of skin. Gotu Kola has been found to stimulate dermal fibroblasts (connective tissue forming cells).
Glycyrrhiza Glabra (Licorice) Root Extract
The ingredient known for skin lightening benefits of the plant is Glabridin. Glabridin inhibits pigmentation by preventing tyrosinase activity without cytotoxicity. Also provides strong anti-inflammatory properties.
Salix Nigra (Willow) Bark Extract
Extracted from the willow tree (Salix Nigra). Helps with mild exfoliation of dead skin cells to reveal a more youthful complexion.
Camellia Sinensis (White Tea) Leaf Extract
Extract of unfermented tea, high in catchins such as epigallocatichin gallate (EGCG), gallocatechin (GC), epigallocatechin (EGC), and epicatechin (EC). Protective against free radicals. Provides superior anti-inflammatory benefits.
Aspalathus Linearis (Rooibos Tea) Extract
Aspalathus linearis, the source of rooibos tea, is a shrub found in South Africa. Rooibos tea is a known source rich in anti-oxidants, as well as anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial properties.
Chamomilla Recutita (Matricaria) Flower Extract
Extracts made from the daisy-like white and yellow heads of the Chamomile flowers. Popular as an excellent skin soother and anti-inflammatory agent.
Aloe Barbadensis (Aloe Vera) Leaf Extract
This well-known desert plant is used for the gel inside the succulent leaves. Known for its anti-inflammatory, soothing, and healing properties. Also used for burns.
Rosmarinus Officinalis (Rosemary) Leaf Extract
Obtained from the leaves of Rosmarinus Officinalis, values for its reviving and invigorating properties. Has natural antimicrobial properties. -
Protocol:
1) Sanitize hands with clean hands antibacterial hand wipes.
2) Squeeze a small amount of Opti Cleanse onto damp cotton and remove make up beginning with the eyes, then lips and if needed use all over face as a “pre” cleanse.
3) Using Hydra 4 Cleanser, apply to the face and thoroughly cleanse skin using circular movements. Remove cleanser with damp cotton squares.
4) Blot skin with tissue to remove any excess moisture.
5) Place Repêchage Eye Rescue Pads® over the eyes, taking care to cove the eyebrows.
6) Wearing gloves, Apply Glyco Sea Peel evenly on the face and neck and if desired on décolleté area. Leave it on for 2-7 minutes.
* During this time your client may feel a slight tingling sensation. This is normal. Ask client to gauge sensation on a scale from 1-10, 10 being the highest sensation. If needed, you may use a small handheld fan to cool the client’s skin.
* If sensation is intolerable and redness and inflammation is occurs, remove immediately by flushing the skin with water and neutralize the skin until no sensation remains.
7) Remove thoroughly by rinsing off with cotton saturated with water. Pay special attention to the hair line. Remove Eye Rescue Pads.
8) Using the Electric Pulverizer or Lucus Spray, add 10 drops of C-Serum to distilled water. Place cotton over the eyes and drape a towel behind client’s neck and down on the décolletage to protect from excess dripping. Begin spraying for 5 minutes. Blot off extra moisture with a tissue.
9) Re-balance skin using Hydra 4® Tonic. Again, Blot of excess.
10) Apply Hydra 4 Day Protection Cream.
